Varo is a traditional folk duo, based in Dublin, consisting of Lucie Azconaga from France and Consuelo Nerea Breschi from Italy. The pair primarily performs a mix of Irish and British folk songs occasionally venturing into baroque and renaissance music.
In January, 2020 they released their self-titled debut album, which was met with great praise from critics across Ireland and the UK. The album embraces their Pan-European musical identity and their devotion to tradition.
Now the duo has released a stunning music video for the traditional Australian folk song “Street of Forbes”, which was included on their self-titled debut.
